Flip

During the last 15 years, Christopher Egeberg has traveled the world as one of Denmark's most recognized and respected DJs. He works under the alias, Flip, and his unique sound has taken him to some of the World's biggest clubs, parties and fashion shows: from Shanghai and Paris to Berlin and London.

Meanwhile, the curiosity of experiencing developed into being a passion for documenting travels and surroundings through a camera lens. Flip explains why he creates art by saying: "It comes very natural to me. To travel, discover the world, meet people, see all these colourful places, hear the stories and document them with my camera".

Actually, it was the people around Flip who advised him to start creating art: "Other people started telling me that I had to do exhibitions. I didn’t really see my pictures as art until they were displayed in large prints in galleries and I saw how people reacted to them".

After a trip to Cuba, Flip's first solo exhibition with portraits from Havana arouse. This was followed by two exhibitions with photos from, among others, India, Hong Kong, Beijing, Singapore, Italy, France, and the USA. Flip's inspiration comes from: "People and my imagination".
Where Flip's music universe is warm, organic and heavy, his visual universe is more colorful, authentic and dreamy. Common for both universes is that to Flip, art is passion.
