“Art exists in so many different shapes and layers in everyday life. Generally, my inspiration is based on feelings of harmony, passion or curiosity,” says artist and freelance illustrator Lena Wigers.
She is born in the little Swedish town Bollnäs but is based in Stockholm today. With parents that were creative, Lena has always had art close to her heart.
Since 2015 she has worked in the creative field and has since the beginning experimented with a mix of different materials: From oil, acrylic and gouache to charcoal and collaging.
“It has just always felt close to my heart to create in different ways. I’ve felt lost in the periods of my life where I haven’t been creating. To me, art is everything and everywhere.”
