Jessica Chen

Jessica Chen’s Portland loft balances industrial architecture with warm, intentional details. Defined by tall windows that flood the space with light, the apartment is home to a calm palette layered with vintage pieces, natural textures and a thoughtful use of colour.
As a content creator, much of Jessica’s work happens online – but when she’s off the clock, she gravitates towards simple routines: cooking, reading and spending time at home with her partner and their two cats. “I’m a big homebody,” she says. “You’ll find me here most of the time.”

Jessica describes her interior style as mid-century, japandi and vintage – comfortable and considered. The living area is grounded by low-slung forms and natural textures, while the kitchen features stacks of colourful plates and subtle, playful contrasts.

For Jessica, art is a way to bring warmth into even the quietest corners.
Her Curated By selection draws on the mood of summer, each piece chosen to animate the space with colour and energy. In the kitchen, Bodegón con Mejillones by Marina García Fernández adds a bold counterpoint to the all-white palette. “It goes so well with my dinnerware and just makes the space feel more fun,” she says.

Though she enjoys exploring the city and heading into nature when she can, home remains Jessica’s anchor. It’s a place to pause, reset and surround herself with the things that bring her comfort – whether a vintage chair, a well-loved book or a piece of art that reminds her of her favourite season.
