Edith and Ryan, a creative couple living in the tropical vibrancy of Singapore, have cultivated a home that is as much an expression of their personalities as it is a sanctuary from the bustling city. Their interior style is an artful blend of eclectic and mid-century modern influences, where every detail, from the smooth glass blocks to the rich walnut furnishings, has been thoughtfully chosen. “We love mixing various styles and materials,” Edith shares, “It’s our way of creating a space that truly feels like us.”

Weekdays for Edith and Ryan are packed with work, making their weekends a time to unwind and indulge in their passions. “On a typical day off, you’ll find us lounging on the sofa, sipping coffee and enjoying a good record,” says Edith, highlighting the couple’s love for music and their extensive collection of vinyl records.

Their love for art, music, and travel is woven into the fabric of their home. The art prints they’ve curated are not just decorative elements; they are vibrant expressions of their shared passions. “We naturally gravitate towards colourful art prints with a touch of personality,” Ryan explains. The prints, framed in unique colours, do more than brighten up the room—they bring a playful energy that mirrors the couple’s fun-loving nature.

One piece that holds particular significance for them is “Meet Me at Jaurès” by Sofia Lind. “This piece is special to us,” Edith says. Placed as a focal point in their bedroom, its light and airy colour palette creates a calming atmosphere.

The artwork, inspired by Sofia Lind’s experiences in Paris, resonates deeply with the couple. “It’s like a bridge between the artist’s story and our own,” Ryan adds, “a reminder of how art can connect us to places, memories, and emotions.
