Movement and Form
London-based artist and designer Kelly Anna works across sport, fashion, art and interiors, creating pieces that channel energy and motion into bold, graphic compositions. From murals and immersive installations to sneakers, her work is rooted in movement, an influence that began early.

“My parents were ballroom and Latin dancers… I used to take my sketchbook to dance competitions and sketch the dancers moving round the floor. I think that’s where my love of movement started.”

Today, that dynamism finds expression in strong female forms, her most recurring motif.

The Visual Language of Sport

Kelly Anna’s practice draws heavily from the visual culture of sport – its colours, graphic design and vintage posters – elements she has long collected, particularly Olympic memorabilia. “Sports graphics have always captured my eye,” she says. This connection also runs through her process: starting with research and large-scale sketches on loose paper, then developing each work depending on its final form. Colour also plays a central role in Kelly’s practice. “I feel so connected with blue, I’m not sure why but it feels right to me,” she notes – a connection reflected in her signature paint shade, “Bleu Kelly Anna”.
