Anne Nowak
Danish artist Anne Nowak makes magnetic works fuelled by a fascination with the outer hemisphere, natural cycles and what lies beyond the horizon. The interest began in childhood on the island of Bornholm, and though she now lives and works mostly in Copenhagen, she keeps a studio in the forest nearby for reading and sketching. She works across many materials, from textiles and paper to silkscreens and spray paint, testing each until it reveals the story. Colour carries great meaning, gathered from dreams, nature and everyday life.
