One-of-a-kind, handmade wall object by Emilie Holm, Sunflower is a ceramic Wall Object where the centre of the flower is composed of hundreds of small black dots, each applied one by one across the surface.

The Sunflower is a symbol of warmth, resilience, curiosity and triggers tactility. It always turns towards the light, the dots reflecting that energy – alive, slightly chaotic and constantly shifting depending on how you look at it. From a distance, it forms a deep, rich core; up close, it becomes a landscape of individual marks.

The contrast between the bold yellow base and the delicate repetition of the dots is both playful and meditative. This piece invites you to pause, come closer and notice the beauty in small details. Just like a real sunflower filled with seeds, every tiny mark is part of something larger.

Production & Sustainability

Each art print is made to order, helping to reduce paper waste. Produced as museum-grade giclée prints on 245 g FSC™-certified archival-quality art paper from responsibly sourced materials, each print features a matte, natural finish and a lightly textured surface, designed to preserve colour depth and fine detail over time.

Giclée is a printing technique used to attain intense, saturated colours as well as a greater variety of depth and nuance. Combined with the premium art paper, it guarantees the archival conservation of colours for the highest possible age resistance.

Care & Maintenance

To preserve the quality and appearance of your art print, avoid direct sunlight, excessive humidity, and contact with moisture. We recommend framing the print behind glass or acrylic for optimal protection. Handle with clean, dry hands and avoid touching the printed surface directly. When properly cared for, archival-quality prints are designed to maintain their colour and character for years to come.

About the Artist

Emilie Holm Atelier

Emilie Holm Atelier

Based in Copenhagen, Emilie Holm works between objects, textiles and drawings, exploring how form, colour and surface shape the way we experience objects. A background in textiles keeps tactility and colour central across every material. Each piece often begins with a single observation, then develops through sketches and small studies. Ceramics form part of her investigation into surface, where glaze, texture and irregularity become integral. Drawn to contrast and the odd one out, she handmakes each work in small series or one-of-a-kind.
